Class Diagrams: Associations

Available associations representing static relationships between classes. The name of the association is above or below the line that represents it. A solid arrow indicates the direction of the relationship. The roles are located near the end of an association. The roles represent how two classes see each other. It is common to put both names, the association and the roles at once. When an association is qualified, the symbol is placed at the end of the association, against the class qualifier ago.
