Class Diagrams

A class diagram is a diagram that shows a set of classes, interfaces, collaborations and relationships. Like other diagrams class diagrams may contain notes and constraints. They may also contain packages or subsystems, which used to group the elements of a model in larger parties. Sometimes placed instances in class diagrams, especially when you want to show the type (possibly dynamic) of an instance. Component diagrams and deployment are very similar to the class, just showing components and nodes instead of classes respectively.
