Class Diagrams: common Uses

Class diagrams are used to model the static design view of a system. This view primarily supports the functional requirements of a system, the services that the system must provide to end users. When modeling the static design view of a system, normally used class diagrams of each of these three ways:

1. To model the vocabulary of a system. 
2. To model simple collaborations. 
3. To model a logical schema database
